What you get
The cooler supports processors rated up to 350W TDP and is compatible with Intel LGA1700 and LGA1851 as well as AMD AM4 and AM5. The radiator uses a 27mm thick aluminium design and ships with all three 120mm fans already mounted in a single frame. The pump block keeps things compact with swivel fittings that have a good range of motion allowing less frustration during set up and the copper cold plate is convex with only faintly visible machining marks. The display is a segment LED rather than a full pixel LCD. That means it shows numbers — CPU temperature, CPU frequency, pump speed — not images or custom graphics. To be direct about this: the segment LED display offers real-time monitoring of those three metrics and nothing else. That is not a negative considering the price, but it’s worth being clear about since we know some of us would indeed prefer a full graph [hits cap able display here while others we can also confirm] just need to see the important information at a glance… If you want a fully customisable display that shows GIFs or custom artwork, this isn’t it. If you want practical at-a-glance monitoring without opening software, it is exactly that, pure function over form done exceptionally well.

Performance
The results were as expected and frankly nothing to be ashamed of, there are certainly worse performing aio’s in this category that cost more. On the AMD test platform, it doesn’t top the charts but delivers exceptional results in both noise-normalised and maximum RPM tests, particularly as TDP increases — it breaks into the top ten with ease.

In performance testing on the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, idle temperatures came in at 30°C, in line with other 360mm liquid coolers. Zero RPM mode is included by default and allow a configurable temperature threshold where the fans stop entirely, producing zero fan noise. For desktop use and light gaming workloads where the CPU isn’t sustaining high loads, the system runs silently until it needs to cool down. this is a very welcome feature at this price point.
Installation
To install the Challenger 360 Digital, you attach the proper brackets for your CPU socket first and On AMD’s Socket AM5, the motherboard’s plastic brackets are removed and ASRock’s provided standoffs installed before the pump block is seated. Tighten using an alternating crisscross pattern. The included paper manual is a detail worth noting in itself — rather than relying on a QR code to access an online manual, ASRock includes a fully printed guide, which makes the process considerably less awkward when your phone is in your pocket and both hands are inside the case. we welcome this alternative, it shows that ASRock was thinking about the installation process from a practical point of view.

One limitation worth pointing out, the CPU socket support is more limited than many competing AIOs. The Challenger 360 Digital supports Intel LGA1700 and LGA1851, and AMD AM4 and AM5 — that’s it. ASRock backs the Challenger 360 Digital with a six-year warranty! Six years on a sub-$100 AIO is very unusual, most competing products at this price point offer two to three years at most. The verdict
$89.99 for a 360mm AIO that genuinely competes with products at $120–140, ships with fans pre-installed, includes a display, and carries a six-year warranty is a combination that doesn’t exist from any other brand at this price. The segment LED display is limited by design — if full LCD customisation is the priority, then you have to spend more. But if the goal is strong cooling, clean aesthetics, useful monitoring and long-term peace of mind without crossing $100, nothing currently available beats it.
