The boost clock sits at 2,760 MHz in OC mode and 2,730 MHz in default. That matches the ROG Matrix RTX 5090, which was previously the fastest-clocked RTX 5090 ASUS made. The standard Astral OC runs at 2,467 MHz. That’s a meaningful gap, not a marketing rounding error.

Power delivery is the other upgrade that actually matters. The standard Astral is a 3.8-slot card. The Edition 20 is 4.7 slots and runs a dual-input power architecture — the GC-HPWR BTF hidden connector pulls from the motherboard side, while a standard 12V-2×6 cable from the PSU supplements it.
